Below is a picture of the 1 page article I recently got from the American Chemical Society (ACS) newsletter (Jan 2018). This survey has some very interesting highlights and has definitely motivated me to try some new and creative learning techniques for improving online courses and virtual labs that I am developing.
This article came at the same time I am reading Cathy Davidson’s book entitled: ‘The New Education: How to Revolutionize the University to Prepare Students for a World in Flux.’ I really wish I read this before teaching my first completely online course at ASU (in spring 2018), and it definitely provides me numerous ideas for changing future courses I guide/instruct online.
